We understand that the recent events and conflicts in Israel have profoundly impacted our Jewish community on Long Island. Long Island Cares, as a committed advocate for the well-being of all our residents, wants to express our support and solidarity with you during these horrific and challenging times.

Our Long Island Jewish community is essential to the tapestry that makes our region diverse and vibrant. We recognize the unique challenges and concerns you face during these difficult moments. We also appreciate the invaluable contributions that the Jewish community has made in promoting compassion, unity, and mutual understanding in our region.

Many innocent members of the Jewish and Palestinian communities do not support terrorism in any form. Like the innocent Ukrainian and Russian people, they are the victims of both of these conflicts. We are committed to fostering an environment of unity and inclusivity on Long Island, and we stand with you in the pursuit of peace and justice in the Middle East and Eastern Europe. We hope for a resolution that brings stability and harmony to the region and allows all communities to live in peace and prosperity.
