Long Island Cares Pantries & Member Agencies
Long Island Cares operates its own food pantries in addition to partnering with over 320 food assistance agencies across Suffolk and Nassau Counties to ensure that those in need have access to nutritious food. Please browse our pantries to find one convienient for you or use the "Food Finder" tool to search for member agencies and pantries near you.
Long Island Cares Pantries & Hours of Operation
Our pantries play a crucial role in addressing hunger within the local community. They are strategically located throughout Nassau and Suffolk County to reach as many individuals and families as possible, providing them with essential items to help alleviate food insecurity.
With a focus on providing fresh produce, protein, grains, and other essential items, these pantries allow individuals and families to access healthy and nutritious food options.

Staff Training Closures
All pantries close at 12 PM (unless otherwise noted) on the following dates to provide training for staff.
- January 15 - closed all day
- February 19
- March 19
- April 16
- May 21
- June 18
- July 16 - closed all day
- August 20
- September 17
- October 15
- November 19
- December 17
Important Notes
3rd Thursday of each month: hours are from 9am - 12pm in order to provide staff training in the afternoon.
Tuesdays are Military Appreciation Tuesdays reserved for veterans and their families.
