New Paths to Achievement Program

Volunteer Opportunity

  • Assist the New Paths to Achievement program by making follow-up calls to clients interested in career/job readiness assistance.
  • Support in assessing clients, documenting their questions and requests for additional support or meetings, and providing necessary follow-up.
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Bilingual in Spanish is a mandatory requirement.

Long Island Cares is seeking a volunteer for our New Paths to Achievement Program (NPTA). This program is designed to help Long Islanders succeed in addressing career, education, and personal goals. Our program provides the necessary tools and resources to gain self-confidence, improve job search strategies, and secure employment opportunities.

Availability:

  • 1 Volunteer is needed.
  • Commitment of up to 2 hours to start.
  • Flexible schedule between Monday – Friday, 8 am – 4 pm.

Location:

  • Available at any Long Island Cares office, excluding 10 Davids Drive.
