Agency Relations Associate
This position will serve as a liaison between The Harry Chapin Food Bank and our expanding network of community-based member agencies to receive, process and post agency orders to database. The Agency Relations Associate will provide technical assistance to member agencies regarding the availability of fresh produce, special items and additional program food items to enhance the nutritional value of member orders as part of our mission to feed the hungry on Long Island. Duties also include advising agencies of all new product and low-quantity product available in our inventory. The successful candidate will possess excellent customer services skills, good typing ability and demonstrated proficiency in data entry (MS Word; Excel). They shall possess good organizational and time management skills, excellent communication skills, and be detail oriented. Bi-Lingual in English and Spanish preferred.
