Long Island Cares – The Harry Chapin Regional Food Bank has been on a mission to feed Long Islanders facing food insecurity and address its root causes since our founding by the late Harry Chapin in 1980.

The Long Island Cares’ Mobile Food Assistance Unit – MFAU (Formerly M.O.R.E) provides information, referral assistance, and emergency food to people when their neighborhood pantries are not open. We travel throughout Nassau and Suffolk Counties.
