Car Donations

Donating your vehicle is a great way to support Long Island Cares. The proceeds from your car help us feed several local families. Working with Donation Processors of America (DPA), we make donating your car hassle free.  DPA accepts donations of cars, trucks and RVs to help feed Long Island’s hungry, whether they’re running or not. With your help, this program provides much-needed funds for Long Island Cares on a monthly basis. Just call 877-872- 2127 or 877-872-2120.

How does it work?

DPA works with local publications to get the word out for donation vehicles throughout our community, then works directly with the donor, who receives a receipt from DPA. Then Long Island Cares receives a monthly statement along with the donation.

• DPA handles all record keeping and administration, such as handling clients’ calls to donate vehicles, pick up, storage and sale of vehicle.
