Hope for the Homeless, sponsored by NBTY, is a Long Island Cares mobile program that supports the underserved homeless population.
The program focuses on the unique needs of unhoused individuals, including providing housing information, housing referrals, ready-to-eat emergency food, and personal hygiene items.
Hope for the Homeless is the only feeding program on Long Island that serves the homeless population directly where they live.
Hope for the Homeless also partners with both Nassau and Suffolk Counties through various homeless programs to bring awareness and resources to people in need.
