Long Island Cares – The Harry Chapin Regional Food Bank has been on a mission to feed Long Islanders facing food insecurity and address its root causes since our founding by the late Harry Chapin in 1980.

Need food? Long Island Cares, Inc. – The Harry Chapin Food Bank is here to help.
We distribute food through a network of member agencies located in Nassau and Suffolk Counties, New York. Member agencies distribute food to individuals who need food assistance.
To locate a food pantry or assistance program in your area, search our directory by your ZIP code. Each listing will provide the agency’s address, contact information and service hours. We recommend calling first.
