What We Know:
Tropical Storm Debby made landfall in Florida as a hurricane on Monday and is now weakening as it moves northeast toward the Carolinas. Heavy rain and flooding are expected in the affected areas.
Impact to New York/New York City/New Jersey:
It is expected to bring several inches of rain to the NYC and NJ area through Sunday, with the heaviest rainfall likely north and west of the city. Some strong winds and scattered showers are also expected. Given the storm is weakening, there’s no further guidance at this time.
