Radical Generosity is the concept that the suffering of others should be as intolerable as our own suffering.
This Giving Tuesday, your $10 can provide 18 meals to a family in need!
Usually, $10 helps us provide 6 meals, but today, thanks to a generous match from some local families, every dollar you give will go three times as far. That means more support our neighbors on Long Island—and a tripled impact up to $300,000!
Meet Tamira, a single mother of two daughters who recently became disabled, making it impossible for her to work. During this challenging time, she depends on Long Island Cares to help keep food on the table while she focuses on her own health and caring for her daughters.
“Getting food from Long Island Cares allows me to take care of my children in a way that they deserve.”
