Long Island Cares – The Harry Chapin Regional Food Bank has been on a mission to feed Long Islanders facing food insecurity and address its root causes since our founding by the late Harry Chapin in 1980.

Let’s get to work! The Computer Lab at the CCE is now open!
Long Island Cares now offers free computer access at the Community Center For Engagement.
Join us for a quiet place to work, update your resume, and apply for jobs. Our expert staff and allied partners will assist you in your job search every Wednesday.
- 8 AM-12 PM | *Civilian/Public Use
- 12 PM-4 PM | Veterans and active duty military
*Late afternoon and early evenings are available by appointment only.
