Urgent Need!
We need your help. There is not enough to meet the need.

Kosher Certified
In addition to traditional American Thanksgiving meals, Adopt-a-Family 2022 will also provide meals to families who celebrate with other holiday foods reflective of their culture.
Providing culturally relevant foods that align with our neighbors’ preferences reduces food waste, diet quality, and a dignified experience is ensured for all.
We have multiple meal basket options for your to choose from. Examples of some items are listed above. A full list will be sent to you after you register.
Simply fill out the form to select what type of meal you are interested in donating! After we receive your selection, we will send you a list of the items you will need to collect along with packing information.
STUDENTS CAN EARN ONE HOUR OF COMMUNITY SERVICE FOR EVERY ONE FAMILY THEY ADOPT!
1 Student + 1 Adopt-a-Family Bundle = 1 hour of Community Service*
*Multiple students cannot share hours for the same meal bundle nor can hours be split. Students donating multiple packages as a group will receive one general letter for the donation as a whole. We cannot provide individual letters unless they are donated individually by a student.
Consider donating to help Long Island Cares purchase the items needed to provide a Thanksgiving Meal to your neighbors in need.
