Salary Range: $24.00/hour, Full-Time; 40 hours
Job Summary: The Farm to Truck Mobile Coordinator is responsible for the daily operation of the Farm to Truck Mobile Program. This is a full-time, 40 hours per week position with the schedule of Tuesday-Saturday. Some evening and weekends.
Essential Functions:
o Inventory management – order nutritious foods for each program.
o Coordinate the preparation of emergency food packages.
o Help prepare emergency food packages for distributions.
o Schedule visits/distributions throughout various locations.
o Load/unload and drive farm truck and distribute pre-packaged food bags as scheduled.
o Follow assigned routes and schedules, arriving at each market site on time.
o Keep Farm to Truck vehicle clean and organized.

This position is funded by a grant that is currently secured through December 2025. While Long Island Cares intends to seek renewal of this grant annually, continued funding for this role is not guaranteed. Employment beyond the current grant period is contingent upon securing additional funding.
