Long Island Cares – The Harry Chapin Regional Food Bank has been on a mission to feed Long Islanders facing food insecurity and address its root causes since our founding by the late Harry Chapin in 1980.

Our nation’s veterans have selflessly dedicated their lives to our country, to the safety and well-being of your family and mine. They’ve endured time away from their loved ones and the comforts of home. And yet, they are among our neighbors facing hunger on Long Island. The brave patriots who served this country shouldn’t have to sacrifice more than they already have.
