LONG ISLAND CARES, INC. COMMEMORATES HARRY CHAPIN’S LEGACY WITH LIMITED EDITION WALL ART

HAUPPAUGE, NY – Monday, March 7, 2016 – Long Island Cares, Inc., The Harry Chapin Food Bank is commemorating the 35th Anniversary of Harry Chapin’s passing in 1981 with the issue of a limited edition framed photo of the organization’s Legacy 35 logo and a replica of the Congressional Gold Medal that was posthumously presented to the Chapin Family in 1987 at a special concert at Carnegie Hall featuring Bruce Springsteen, Pat Benatar, Graham Nash among others.
This limited edition framed piece is available for a donation of $135.00 and was designed by Long Island Picture Frame of Oyster Bay and Massapequa and approved by The Chapin Foundation to benefit Long Island Cares, Inc. the regional food bank founded by Chapin in 1980.
