Recipe:

-8 slices of day old (stale) brioche buns, challah or any bread cut into cubes
-4 frozen, fully cooked sausage patties browned in a pan and cut-up into bite sized pieces
-4 whole eggs
-2 egg whites
-2 tablespoons Cinnamon
-A pinch of nutmeg
-1 tablespoon light brown sugar
-1 to 2 tablespoons of butter
-1/2 cup milk
Whisk eggs and egg whites together. In a medium sized bowl combine egg mixture, milk, cinnamon, nutmeg, and sugar. Grease a pie or round 9″ casserole dish with the butter. Put bread cubes in and pour egg and spice mixture over bread cubes and toss until all coated. Add sausage bites on top and gently toss once to scatter sausage pieces in casserole. If you have extra butter leftover, you can spread it on top of casserole before putting it into the oven.
Bake in oven at 400° 20 minutes until golden brown and done.
