Summer is here! The weather is warming up and we’re starting to head down to the beach to soak up sun and have fun. Summer is a great time to experiment with new food, eat fresh , and serve up something sweet, like fruit! We’ve put together a list of local Farmer’s Markets in Nassau & Suffolk Counties where you can find fresh produce like lettuce, tomatoes, corn, peaches, strawberries, apples, and more. The list goes on and on.
Many of these markets accept EBT (SNAP) and Fresh Connect Coupons (FCC), so if you receive these benefits, you can use them to purchase fresh fruits and vegetables for you and your family.
