January 22, 2016

Long Island Cares, Inc. has a limited number of up-close center orchestra seats to see The Chapin Family at the Patchogue Theatre for the Performing Arts on Saturday, April 2, 2016 at 8:00 PM.  All net proceeds from the sale of tickets will benefit the Long Island Cares Endowment Fund.

The Chapin Family, including Tom Chapin, Steve Chapin, Jen Chapin, The Chapin Sisters, and original members of the Harry Chapin Band will perform the songs of Harry Chapin as they headline the 7th Annual Patchogue Folk Festival.  Together, The Chapin Family and their audience will remember the songs and stories made famous by one of Long Island’s favorite sons, humanitarians and social activists as we celebrate his legacy on the 35th anniversary of his passing.  In addition, Long Island Cares’ staff and volunteers will be in the lobby of the theatre to collect donations of non-perishable food to support the work of the regional food bank that Harry Chapin founded in 1980.
