Martin Luther King Jr. Day of Service 2016

January 22, 2016

Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. once said that “Life’s most persistent and urgent question is, ‘What are you doing for others?’
At Long Island Cares, we answer that question every day by working to feed the more than 316,000 neighbors who are hungry and food insecure, including 70,000 children.  On Dr. King’s birthday this year, we welcomed students, members of our Board of Directors, and their families to volunteer with us, and answer the question by our side in his honor. We thank everyone who attended the event for their efforts!
