Saying goodbye to Summer can be a heartbreaking experience. So let’s go out in style and take a blast to the past with our ‘Long Island Cares End of Summer Old School Sorting Party and Potluck’.
Friday, September 1st, from 10 AM-3 PM, we will participate in a sort and pack for families with food insecurities. Come dressed in your favorite attire from the groovy 70’s, workout 80’s, and grungy 90’s to lend a helping hand, while moving to your favorite classics. At noon, a potluck will be taking place and we encourage you to share your favorite dish with us.
We will have games, a 50/50 raffle, and prizes to the individuals who did their best to take us through memory lane. We hope to see you there and remember to dress like you’re having a blast from the past.
