GET READY TO BOARD THE ZYDECO PADDLEBOAT BOAT CRUISE TO BENEFIT LONG ISLAND CARES

Get ready for Louisiana-style Zydeco music on the Great South Bay as Long Island Cares, Inc. hosts its annual “Zydeco Paddleboat Cruise” featuring River City Slim and The Zydeco Hogs on Thursday, August 4, 2016 aboard the Lauren Kristy paddleboat.  The boat will leave from the Bay Shore Marina at 6:00 PM and return at 9:00 PM.  The cruise will feature a buffet dinner, wine, beer and soft drinks, Mardi Gras beads and live music from New England’s premier Zydeco band.  All tickets are $65.00 per person and all proceeds support the Long Island Cares, Inc. Endowment Fund
River City Slim and The Zydeco Hogs have performed their high-energy style of music at numerous festivals, fairs and dance clubs throughout the New York and New England areas.  They have been acclaimed for their ability to authentically interpret the Creole and Zydeco sound that gets people dancing all night long.  The band is back by popular demand following their successful performance last year to benefit Long Island Cares, and to recreate the Zydeco experience aboard a paddleboat which is very common along the Mississippi River.
