Harry Chapin Day Of Service

Join us for a special Day of Service in tribute to our founder, Harry Chapin, and his unwavering commitment to giving back and making a difference. We are excited to offer several opportunities to spread awareness and give back.

We are hosting a countywide food drive at all our Long Island Cares-operated food pantries and guided tours of our foodbank located in Hauppauge, where you’ll have the opportunity to see firsthand how we receive and distribute food to our communities. Tours will run on the hour from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM, with a maximum of 10 people per tour.

Date: Tuesday, July 16th
Location: 10 Davids Drive, Hauppauge
10:00 AM – 2:00 PM (First come. First served. Last tour is at 1pm)
