Dunkin’ Donuts & Baskin-Robbins Community Foundation
The Joy in Childhood Foundation (previously The Dunkin’ Donuts & Baskin-Robbins Community Foundation) has been supporting Long Island Cares for the past 7 years, donating more than $100,000 since 2011. They came to the aid of Long Islanders in 2012 when Hurricane Sandy displaced thousands of families. In 2013, the foundation provided funding for the DDBR Kitchen Studio, which is used by our Nutrition staff to provide cooking demonstrations, along with menu planning for our member agencies.
In 2016 the foundation donated a $10,000 grant to support the food bank’s Humanitarian Center in Huntington Station. Most recently, The Joy in Childhood Foundation put $15,000 into the Pack It Up For Kids Program, providing children at-risk for hunger on weekends receive the nutrition they need to grow and thrive. We are proud to have the Joy in Childhood Foundation and Dunkin Donuts Baskin Robbins as a partner in the fight against hunger!
