Long Island Cares, Inc. is currently recruiting for a full-time Mobile Coordinator, as part of our Programs and Services Department and Hope for the Homeless Program.
Responsibilities and Requirements:
The Full-time Mobile Coordinator is a key staff position within the programs and services department of Long Island Cares, Inc. Reporting directly to the Chief Program Officer, this position requires excellent knowledge of the homeless population, experience with care coordination, have an understanding of the demographics of Long Island, various word computer applications, superior communication skills, ability to work in the elements (outside, wooded areas) under pressure and meet deadlines, and the ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with other homeless programs and allied organizations.
Hours are Monday-Friday 8:30-4:30
