This is a humorous comic strip, no?  But why is it funny?  Humor is largely based on irony.  What can be more ironic than this:  According to Census Bureau statistics, nearly 44 million people in the richest country in the world cannot afford health insurance.  How many people are faced with choosing between food and health insurance, or between food and housing costs?  How many live here on Long Island?
