VOLUNTEER
Volunteers are a very important part of our operation. If it were not
for volunteers, there would be no Long Island Cares.
There are many ways to volunteer your time to help us. These include
fund raising, food drives, special events, administrative jobs, and light
warehouse tasks (such as sorting food).
We have a form that we ask volunteers to fill out in order to coordinate
their activities. This form lists volunteering opportunities in more

Registration Form
All online volunteer submissions are received and recorded by the Volunteer
Service Coordinator in our database of volunteers. Volunteers receive
e-mail notification of upcoming volunteer projects and events as they arise.
If in the future you wish to be removed from the volunteer e-mail notification
list, please use our

fill out your name, address, telephone, and e-mail address (only to identify you
in our volunteer database) and in response to "Got any
good ideas?" reply "Please REMOVE me from your volunteer database."
