JOB TRAINING
Part of Long Island Cares’ mission is to sponsor and promote
programs through our Community Outreach Department that provide individuals
with the tools and skills needed to become self-sufficient. The Job
Training Program focuses on at-risk young adults
and the need for job skills that will help them to succeed in today’s job
market. By offering a training program utilizing both the warehouse
and offices at Long Island Cares, participants are given comprehensive,
on-the-job training and are exposed to the possibility of new career
